Abstract
This article analyses the conditions and circumstances of pregnancy among a group of adolescents in an attempt to overcome ambiguities regarding this issue. The empirical research was based on qualitative data and subjected to a broad analysis of the life of 13 teenage mothers, observing the different circumstances involving their pregnancies, including the relationship with their families of origin, the type of relationship in their present unions, and the changes they have undergone. The study showed a complexity and diversity of situations involving adolescent pregnancy, in contrast to analyses which might tend to show homogeneous processes.Downloads
