Abstract
The paper deals with some aspects associated to schooling and their interfaces with the dynamics of the education system, particularly the flow of students. It attempts to show that the country has gone through a schooling transition process related to demographic transition. Regional differences of school entrance in the initials grades of elementary school have reduced, but the speed of this reduction is lower in the upper grades. Indeed, entrance in the last grade of secondary school has increased faster in the most developed regions, intensifying the regional inequalities.Downloads
